I have several now. 3 in our home gym, 1 in my office. I might add another in the mud room for the kids chores.I work from home now (amen) and I am of an older school - I like to write things down and have it visible to me so I can stay on task. I also like brainstorming frequently, and this stackable whiteboard panel is life.It comes with one black marker and an eraser, and is easy to clean. I have it in my bedroom because doors are prime vertical real estate in an apartment and this was the last available one. I love it, though, because my standing workspace is in there.Highly recommended!I like the fact that it is a roll of 4 feet by 8 feet. I also like that behind the actual film, there is a grid for people to use to cut exact squares (the grid is on the wax paper side that protects the white board film. The eraser has a magnetic side, and after using the marker that came with it, I haven't really noticed any graying/stains. The final thing I really liked was that the squeegee that came for installing it has two sides, the super smooth side that is used for surfaces like glass, and a furry side that is used in uneven surfaces like walls. As long as the surface you are installing it is semi smooth, clean and not dusty, it will stick (I added a blue tape on the edges to designate where the film ends and my wall begins apart from protecting the edges from anything that might force it to unstick, especially pointy things. Now the negatives. There are at times a few small (hardly noticeable) smudges that might appear. I only have 2 on the very bottom left of the image (try looking for them if you can). Hardly noticeable, and not really an issue for me.Further points. If a person is setting up anything bigger than a 3 feet by 2 feet square, and it is your first time doing or using something like this, get some help, you will need it. If you have experience putting reflective or any other type of film on glass, you can probably manage solo, probably. This film gets installed in almost the exact same way as window film, if you are unsure, there are tons of videos on YouTube on how to install window film. Finally, if a person wisher to install this on glass or plexiglass, so that they use the marker on the glass instead of the film, that is doable as well.Final thoughts, I like it, I will definitely be using it, and the roll is long enough to either do a bigger wall (5X8) or replace the installed one once it goes bad. Hope this review helps. We used it at the home office. Great productI have cabin walls, so I needed to pin this against the wall and not use the sticky back. It did take some time getting it to stop bubbling but it is now good. Its not perfect, but it accomplished what I needed.I like this product. Exactly whiteboard where you want.I still can't get the bubbles pushed out. The good news is that it sticks really, really well...I purchased the 36x96" decal for online teaching, as I prefer to be on screen and move around. We wanted to apply the decal on a moderately textured (knockdown texture) basement wall with 8' suspended ceiling and overhead fluorescent lights. I had to skim coat the wall with a single coat followed by wet sanding to get a smooth enough surface to write properly on. As I didn't know anything about skim coating this was quite a job. After applying the decal, the surface was not visibly smooth and greatly exaggerated any imperfections, although it was smooth enough for writing. Probably another coat of wall compound and some dry sanding such as is done in preparation for painting would have eliminated the problem. Hanging the decal was definitely a two-person job unless one wanted to cut it in half. The instructions recommended removing the entire backing before installation, but we found it much easier to remove parts as one goes. Finally, the overhead light fixtures resulted in too much glare for shooting video, since our ceiling was only 8'. I assume this would have been a problem with any whiteboard installation. We were able to overcome this by purchasing some soft box lighting and using the overhead fixtures for fill lighting after blocking hot spots from them with hanging paper. All in all a fairly large job, but I prefer the end result to teaching by writing on an iPad.Excellent quality sheet, not too thin and not too thick. Installation on large size boards is definitely not to be done by 1 person. Mine was 36 inch by 72 inch. I tried pasting the sheet while the board was up. Then realized my mistake. Brought the board down and it took me, my wife and son to paste the sheet over it. Now the white board is as good as new. The sheet has nicely marked grid lines at the back to aid accurate cutting. I even stuck the remaining pieces on my table to make them like whiteboards. Totally awesome.Just an update after seeing the negative reviews regarding not able to erase. That issue is due to cheap whiteboard markers. I use a Pilot white board marker and the writing goes off with no effort. Also, we should never let the writing be on the board for hours. Then it gets difficult to erase, and that's true of any whiteboard. Also someone here says it took hours to install. Just follow the below steps to install correctly.1. Bring the old white board down to the floor.2. Cut accurately, slightly lesser than ur old whiteboard dimensions.3. Thoroughly clean the old whiteboard.4. Get 2 friends to help, and paste from one end, roll out to the other. Will take a couple tries if it goes cross.
